Birkenstock Classic Half-Slippers
Birkenstock has a long history that can be traced back many years. Johann Adam Birkenstock registered the brand "Vassal And Shoemaker" in the local church archives.
In 1896, Johann's grandson designed the first pair of "arched shoes with perfect support for the arch of the foot", which is the shape of the Birkenstocks we see now.
The ergonomic footbed is particularly comfortable to wear, and the cork-soled shoes are a bit hard at first, but become more comfortable the more you wear them. Later, it was recognized by the medical community, and many rehabilitation doctors would recommend patients to wear Birkenstock.
In 1966, Margot Fraser from the United States discovered Birkenstock in a spa in Germany and began to produce and sell it to the public. Since then, Birkenstock has gradually become popular all over the world.
